The President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), Musa Bility disclosed to reporters yesterday that he spoke with Liberia’s Lone Star coach, James SalinsaDebbah to submit the list of the players for the match against Tunisia slated for September 5, 2015.
According to Bility, the coach informed him that besides the two goalkeepers, all Lone Star squad members will comprise of foreign based players for the crucial encounter against Tunisia.
A source inside the LFA hinted this paper that Malaysia based striker, Francis Grandpa Forkey Doe, who plies his trade in the Malaysia Premiership with NS Matrix with 16th league goals from 18 matches, who is currently the Premiership top goal scorer and Patrick ‘Ronaldinho’ Wleh of PKNS are included in Debbah’s 22-man squad.
Some players to make Lone Star’s squad for Tunisia clash include another Patrick Gerhardt and ZahKrangar from Malaysia, Anthony Laffor from South Africa, William Jebor from Spain, DirkirGlay from Kenya, and Teah Dennis from Jordan.
Others include GizzieDorbor from Israel, SekouKonneh from Holland, AmadiayaRennie and Sam Johnson from Sweden and Solomon Grimes from Cyprus.
Liberia lost 2-1 in the opening match against Togo in Lome last June and needs to beat Tunisia to get back on course for the 2017 nations cup qualifiers.
