ARP rules of procedure: Article 51 adopted

The plenary session of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) adopted on Wednesday Article 51 of the draft law on the rules of procedure of the Parliament relating to the modalities of operation and organisation of permanent committees. The text of the article received 108 votes in favour against 10 abstentions and 10 rejections. According to the final version adopted by the plenary, the number of permanent committees is 13. The Assembly of People's Representatives resumed, on Wednesday afternoon, its work on the ARP's rules of procedure by starting to discuss the articles of section 5 relating to permanent committees, their mandates and the conduct of their work under the third chapter of the draft rules of procedure entitled "the structures of the Assembly".
