There's a growing push in Togo for the country's rich linguistic and cultural heritage to be better reflected in courses and classes. Until just a couple of years ago, French works dominated the curriculum with few African classics on offer. But more literary voices are calling for greater focus on the words and worlds built by indigenous authors.
