Grandpa Doe Shines in Malaysia (

Liberian international striker Francis Grandpa Doe, who plies his trade with Malaysian Premiership outfit NS Matrix, continues to woo fans in that part of the world with his goal scoring ability. The striker scored his 17th goal of the season from 19 matches in a 2-0 win against Malaysian Premiership leader, Kedah Football League.

His 72nd minute goal gave his team hope of victory before teammate Thanbalan closed the day in the 84th minute. NS Matrix is now six on the league table with 88 points. Grandpa Doe has returned home to play against Tunisia, leader of Group A in the Nations Qualifier.

The Loner Star of Liberia will play Tunisia in their second match at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on September 5, 2015 in Monrovia. The 22-man squad under the coaching ability of ex-celebrated James Debbeh, will play their second international game in the 2017 African Cup of Nationals after losing the first leg in Togo.
