Nigerian Arrested With Cocaine (allAfrica.com)

A Nigerian national, Paul OmenyiIkegbuman, 32, has been booked with a huge consignment of cocaine in the commercial City of Ganta, Nimba County.

He was booked with the narcotic drugs by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officials at the Ganta Immigration Check Point while traveling on a commercial Taxi cab, plate Number 0156.

DEA County Commander, Julius Kanubah said that the estimated value of the drugs was USD 7,875. The DEA told this paper that the suspect travelled with the drugs in his sandals from Lagos and passed through Togo, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast.

Speaking further to this paper, the said suspect has been charged with illegal possession of unlawful drugs section 14. 101new drugs law.

The cocaine according to DEA weighs 315.1 grams.

Meanwhile, the suspect is appealing to the Government of Liberia to forgive him because the items in question were given to him by his friend in Lagos to deliver to somebody in Monrovia upon instruction.
