Soon a 5 star hotel in Lomé

[B]The official loan signature ceremony between the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and la Société hôtelière SODEXH-Togo took place on Tuesday at BOAD Headquarters in Lomé.[/B]

5 billion Francs CFA; is the amount of funds which will be made available to the Hotel Company SODEXH-Togo to build in 18 months a five-star hotel complex.

The documents were initialed by the CEO of SODEXH-Togo, Mr. Olivier Cauro and the Vice-President of BOAD, Mr. Bassary Touré.

The Vice-President of BOAD was delighted of this project, an initiative of the private sector to promote tourism in Togo, a key area for BOAD.

Mr. Francis Perez, President of the group PEFACO which is a part of SODEXH-Togo took the opportunity to thank all those who have played their part for the successful outcome of this project.

The new hotel complex a 162 rooms and 36 bungalows will strengthen the hotel accommodation of Lomé for a tourist and business clientele.

This new loan of BOAD to SODEXH-Togo brings BOAD financing to the Togolese State to 254.8 billion Francs CFA of which 60.4 billion Francs CFA to the private sector in Togo.
