William Jebor Moves to Spain (allAfrica.com)

Liberia’s international striker, William Jebor has left Portugal based top flight outfit, Rio Ave for Spanish second division outfit, SD Ponferradina on a season loan.

Jebor, who scored Liberia’s lone goal in the 2-1 defeat at the hand of the Sparrow Hawks of Togo last June in the 2017 Nations Cup qualifier, was handed the club’s number seven jersey for the 2015/2016 season.

The Liberian is expected to make his debut for his new club, SD Ponferradina today against Sporting Gijón in a friendly encounter.

Jebor, who have moved to Spain in search of playing time, was the top scorer of the Egyptian Premier League season (2012-13) playing for El-Geish before its being cancelled. He scored 10 goals in 9 matches.

Due to the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League, the goal customer, Jebor moved to Libya and featured in the top flight with Ahli Tripoli where he made life uneasy for opposing players in that part of the world.
